PEFathonV
PEFathon VI is the 6th Annual Pacifica Fun Run supporting our K-8 public schools. The Hazelnut-7K features Montara Mountain and the only undisturbed Coastal Mountain Habitat found over 100 miles of coastline. Experience groves of Huckleberry, Honeysuckle, Lilac, Chinquapin and Manzanita, with beautiful views of the Pacific Coast as you climb. The Trout Farm-5K takes you along the San Pedro Creek. This challenging run provides bird-watching and eucalypptus trees.
Put on by the Pacifica Education Foundation, the PEFathon is our final event this school year to raise funds to continue supporting Slam Poetry, 20th Century Learning, Elementary School Music and Middle School Band. We are striving this year to not only continue implementing the current STEM corriculum at the Middle School level but extend this program to our Elementary School Computer Science programs as well.

Bid Number Pick-Up: 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. at the Walnut Grove group picnic area, San Pedro Valley Park. There is a $6.00 parking entrance fee.

Water: It is highly recommended that runners carry at least 8 oz. of water. There will be a water station on the top of the Hazelnut trail (7k) but no water station on Trout Farm trail (5k).
About the Courses - Choose the exciting and beautiful Hazelnut race, the shorter and flatter Trout Farm race, or the leisurely Family Fun Walk.
- 7k Hazelnut Challenge - The Hazelnut Race is a challenging 3.7 mile trail. The race will start at 9:00 AM. Runners will find the Hazelnut trail steep and winding, where athletes will run single-file on the narrow parts of the course.
- 5K Trout Farm Race - A relatively flat 5k run that starts at 9:00 am with the Hazelnut challenge.
- Family Fun Walk - The Family Fun Walk is open to everyone who registered for the Hazelnut or Trout Farm runs. It's an enjoyable, flat, wide, 3.2k course starting at 11:00 AM. Strollers welcome!
