Age groups male & female (awards will be given 3 deep):

• Female-Athena (over 165 lbs),
• Male-Clydesdale (over 220 lbs.).

Event Schedule

Preliminary Wave Starts:

• Wave 1: 7:00 am
• Wave 2: 7:03 am
• Wave 3: 7:06 am
• Wave 4: 7:09 am
• Wave 5: 7:12 am

Clydesdale and Athena participants will race in waves based on their age.

Water Temperature:

Approximate water temperature in Shadow Cliffs is 70 – 74 degrees.

Confirmed Triathletes:

All athletes should arrive at least 1.5 hours early. This year’s event will begin promptly at 7:30 AM at Shadow Cliffs Lake.

Body Marking:

All athletes will be body marked. Hands, calves, and arms will be marked. Body marking will be done race morning only. You will find volunteers in the transition for body marking. It is the racer’s responsibility to get their body marked.

The Finish:

The Finish includes a post race party with all the fixings: great music, exciting race day announcers, free catered food which includes burritos, fresh fruit, muffins, bagels and cream cheese, fresh spring water, recovery drinks and more.

Post Race Massage:

Sports massage services will be provided after the race for free.

Schedule of events:

You must bring a valid ID to pick up your race packet. You may pick up a friend’s or relative’s race packet and bib number, only if you have their valid ID present. If you are pre-registered, you will not need to bring anything but your valid I.D. and USAT card to pick up your race packet. If you’re not a USAT member you’ll be required to purchase a one day USAT License for $15.
