Event Information
The Surgical Artistry Modesto Marathon
The Modesto Marathon course features a downtown 7 a.m. start, and travels through scenic tree-lined historic college neighborhoods, including the celebrated “house in the middle of the road.” Runners will then head past Modesto Junior College’s west campus, and into the countryside viewing the beautiful Diablo Mountain Range, passing the San Joaquin River National Wildlife Refuge. Runners then head back toward town, finishing near the host Doubletree Hotel/Modesto Convention Center.
The flat, fast course will be open 7 hours, allowing adequate time for first-time marathoners
Marathon (26.2 miles): $75; after Feb. 18, 2012, $85. $100 Expo registration No race day registration.
Half Marathon (13.1 miles): $55; after Feb. 18 2011, $65. $75 Expo registration No race day registration.
5K (3.1 miles): $20; after Feb. 18, 2011, $25; Expo registration, $30. Race Day $35
